a free weekly newsletter.
The newsletter is free of charge and sent by e-mail each week to
anyone who subscribes. You do not need to sign up for any of our
subscription services to receive the newsletter. It provides an
excellent summary of the general economic activity for the week
as well as information on our portfolios. We publish a selection
of questions posed by customers and the answers we provided and
a section at the end that covers a variety of educational and informative
issues.
PRESIDENT'S COMMENTARY
Our Company President, Mr. Graham J. O’Connor gives his views
and opinion on the trading activity through the week, the general
economic outlook and its potential impact upon our strategies and
any Company specific changes that are happening now or in the future.
CURMUDGEON
Our guest writer, Curmudgeon, gives his unique opinion on current
economic and political events. Sometimes controversial but always
thought provoking and very popular with our existing newsletter
subscribers.
MARKET SUMMARY
A daily recap for the week on movements in the main US economic
indices, major news stories and expert opinion.
THE WEEK AHEAD
A calendar listing showing the main economic indicators to be issued
during the coming week.
EARNINGS ANNOUNCEMENTS
A calendar of all the earnings announcements for stocks
in our portfolios that are scheduled for the coming week.
BENCHMARK PORTFOLIOS
In response to a growing number of queries concerning the likely
returns a ‘typical’ subscriber would enjoy by following
each of our newsletter subscription service, we set up our Benchmark
Portfolios on 1st January 2005. These portfolios are operated exactly
the way our subscribers would operate their accounts, with a set
starting capital and a set number of positions in each portfolio.
We report the returns on these portfolios each week net of commission
charges.
PORTFOLIO SUMMARY AND ANALYSIS
These show all of our current open positions in all the 4 subscription
services; Equity LEAPS, Index LEAPS, Covered Calls Conservative
and Covered Calls Aggressive. We give a breakdown by sector, the
date opened, the status of each position, % from closing and % change
on the week.
CLIENT E-MAILS
You are able to read what our existing clients have been saying
and asking along with our feedback. This is one of the most popular
sections of the newsletter because you can read first hand how other
subscribers are investing and learning. It is a valuable source
of information for the new and seasoned Options Spread and Covered
Call investor.
TIPS AND REVIEWS
We publish tips and strategies to enhance your trading experience
with useful web-links, trading strategies and reviews.
